FRANK A. GERACI, 68 ROCKFORD – Frank A. Geraci, 68, of Rockford departed peacefully at 3:35 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, with his family by his side. Born Aug. 1, 1942, in Rockford, the son of John and Stella Geraci. He resided in Rockford his entire life. Graduated from St. Thomas High School. Married Priscilla Salamone on Oct. 26, 1963, in Rockford. Frank was employed by the Rockford Fire Department as a driver-engineer for 27 years. He served with the U.S. Army Reserve as a sharpshooter. Member of St. Anthony Church. Frank was an avid fisherman, passionate baker and a third-degree black belt tae kwon do instructor. He was very devoted to his family and had strong family traditions. He especially enjoyed time with his grandsons, teaching them sports, music and to love the simple things of life. Survivors include wife, Priscilla; son, John (Laura) Geraci; daughter, Jodi (Tony) Seminerio, all of Rockford; grandsons, Angelo Seminerio and Michael Geraci; brother-in-law, John Falzone; special nieces, Kelli (Barry) Graham and Rachael Falzone; great-niece, Johnna Graham; uncles, Joe Gulotta and Tony Gulotta; and numerous cousins. Predeceased by parents, and sister, Joanne Falzone. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Ted Ingrassia, nurses and staff, for the compassionate care that was given to Frank.
